Getting It Together

I thought it was kind of funny when one of my students was walking back from lunch today without allowing her feet to bend. She said that she didn’t want her shoes to crease. I LOL (laughed out loud)! I would have never thought of that! Keeping your new shoes clean is one thing; not creasing them is another. What’s next? Peel off plastic on the bottom so they don’t show any wear? This is why I love teaching in the middle school! So much to learn from so many students!

The opening was a rush. Teachers never have enough September time. Classes are whirling mightily, we are on track and on the journey – 8th grade – it’s what’s for lunch!

  1. Hahahah…that’s hilarious. Alot of funny stuff like that happens in middle school and that is kind of what makes it so fun and great.

  2. I think Maya Angelou is one of the greatest poets. The message of Pledge Four Our Youth was ‘freedom is very important’. Also the message for’ I Know Why the Caged Birds Sings’ is that everyone can’t always do the things they want to do.
