John Milton, John Milton
Your life had many passages but you only chose one,
Now your legacy lives on and your duty is done.
You spoke out your spirit, beliefs, and your mind,
And you still didn’t stop even though you were blind!
Your literature has proven that the pen is mightier than the sword,
So because your poem is ten books long, it will never keep us bored.
You had three wives but one stayed with you to your death,
That wife’s name was Elizabeth.
John Milton, John Milton
Your life had many passages but you only chose one,
Now your legacy lives on and your duty is done.
Awesome Man

JM is his nickname.
He said it with no shame.
He walked around head up high.
Cause he always believed in God.
An awesome man he is!!
He went to jail and deal with the pain.
But some people said it was a shame.
He became wealthy on his own.
And came up as a good poet as you have known.
An awesome man he is!!
He was famous for writing the Paradise Lost.
That he became people’s boss.
He imagined things.
And lived with it, through the storm and the rain.
An awesome man he is!!

So if you do not know how awesome he is.
Then take a break and travel the journey I travel
and then you will see.
How awesome he is to me.
An awesome man he is.
Forever Remembered Star

John Milton is like a star,
Burning with an exhilarating flame
Of knowledge and passion,
But yet so lost in the darkness
Of the world.
Like every star in the sky,
John Milton is full of loneliness and independence,
But never once was even close to being alone.
And just as every star stands still,
With no movement over time,
His poems made time stand still in our past history.
But like every star,
He burned out of existence
And only leaving but a memory
And even though he is gone,
Our remembrance of him will live on forever.
John Milton was a Rebel

John Milton was a Rebel
He lost his sight
But never gave up a fight
He went to jail
But never did he fail
Because when he got out
He made a shout
About
The rights to divorce
The Queen did like this, of course!
She finally gave in
And he had three wives and four kids
John Milton’s words were strong
Some even thought they were wrong
Others thought they sounded like a song
But he just wrote them because they went along.
Now you know John’s words were a token
Even when he was sad and heart broken
John was always out spoken
To the Government
Because he couldn’t read all their fine print!
So you can say
John Milton was a rebel in a big way
Oh, John Milton

John Milton
Something that’s really great is
he was born December 9th, 1608.
He sadly died November 8, 1674.
It’s too bad he’s not here anymore.
John Milton
He was a really great man.
He always did the best he can.
He wrote a great epic, Paradise Lost.
He’s a great poet like Robert Lee Frost.
John Milton
He was no fool.
He even went to Christ’s College, Cambridge for school.
He toured France and Italy one May.
I know he is missed very much today.

Milton, Delaware.
Our town was named after this wonderful guy.
If he were here, he’d be so happy he’d cry.

JOHN MILTON IS THE BEST OF HIS TIME

He was one of a kind
And the best of his time
He wrote a poem Paradise Lost
But he went blind
He was one of a kind
And the best of his time
He believed in liberty and justice
Freewill and culture
He was one of a kind
He got seized
But that didn’t stop him
Because he was one of a kind
And the best of his time

A paradise lost,
Written by daughter Eve,
While Adam lay blind,
A poet dreams.
A paradise lost,
Adam and Eve, good and evil.
Rest in peace.

John Milton was the one.
John Milton was the one, the one famous writer
who loved his wives to death
He studied the world’s many beliefs.
John Milton was the one that got arrested for his strong protesting
He wrote Paradise Lost when he was blind
That was ten books long.
John Milton was the one that inspired many different writers.
Long hair with a pointy nose
Big eyes.
John Milton was the one who debated the school systems.
He was a strong debater
He was a true rebel.
John Milton was the one who inspired me to write this.
He was and always will be the one.
John Milton was the one.
I AM JOHN MILTON

I am John Milton
I am a rebel for rising up between all odds
I am the one who fought to divorce my wife
I am a writer of the things I feel and for that reason I was sent to jail
I am blind but never gave up the fight
I saw my books get publicly burned and never gave up hope
I knew my heart was strong so I had my daughter write a song
I am the one who published a book in jail
I am a person who wrote a book while I was blind
I am the one that they named a town after
I am a healthy man who lived to be 68 and that’s long in my day
I am a fighter for my freedom
I am a brilliant poet writer
I am John Milton
John Milton- A Legacy of His Own

A true inspiration,
an inspiration to
fight for what you believe in,
to never give up,
to never back down from the fight,
even if life seems to fight you every step of the way,
you will get there.
Even when his sight was lost,
he still held a fight,
and wrote the striking poem “Paradise Lost”.
Some say he was a better poet then Shakespeare.
I believe he was a stubborn man,
knowing when to stop,
but always going to the farthest extent
to make his ideas and actions known,
so others could live more easily.
Even through many losses,
he still seemed to make his name known,
for fighting in what he believed in.
A Legacy of his Own.
John Milton
